CAPTURE A MEETING

Choose which meetings Todoki joins

Set auto-record rules and override individual meeting occurrences.

In this guide

Pick the narrowest rule that fits#

  • Only meetings I select: choose individual occurrences from the upcoming list.
  • Only meetings I host: capture meetings organized by the connected account.
  • All meetings with a meeting link: include eligible hosted or accepted meetings.
  • Internal or External meetings: classify by the connected account’s work-email domain. These options need a work-domain calendar.
  • Meetings with workspace teammates: include eligible events with another Todoki workspace member.

Enable and save your preference#

  1. Open Meeting assistant → Recording preferences using the connected calendar owner’s account.
  2. Turn on Auto-record meetings and select your rule.
  3. Confirm recording permission and participant notification.
  4. Select Save preferences. Unsaved changes do not replace the active rule.
  5. Use Join this meeting or Skip this meeting in the upcoming list to override one occurrence while auto-record is on.

Events that are skipped#

Private, cancelled, all-day, declined, and unaccepted events do not qualify. The event needs a supported meeting link and enough scheduling notice. Individual overrides apply to that occurrence, not every future event in the series.
